Getting Ready for the Tax Man

Totally Honest Tax Tips For Writers is a wonderful tool for writers of all levels. I wrote it in conjunction with my son, who is a currently licensed Tax Consultant. It contains the following:

  • Should you claim your writing activity as a hobby or business?

  • Good planning for claiming your writing activity as a business.

  • Forms for good record keeping.

  • Surprising deductions you can claim in your writing business.

  • The answers to your questions regarding travel expenses.

  • When and how to claim the home office deduction.

  • Writing a good business plan.

  • When and how to claim the purchase of office equipment.

  • How to claim long-distance phone calls.

  • And much much more!

You can purchase the book for the low price of $10.00 (US), which includes shipping! Simply click on the "Buy Now" button on the right beneath my profile.

    Sandy! You're famous!
I just read The Advanced Fiction Writing E-zine, and lo and behold you're in it!

Congratulations on the book and on the interest in your novel. I wish I could buy a tax help book, but I'm so broke right now.

God bless you and don't be a stranger,
    Karri

    Karri,

Thanks for the kind words! I totally missed all the comments readers have been leaving because I had to enable them first. Duh! Trying to rectify that now.

Aren't you in New Zealand or somewhere like that? Don't think the Tax Book will help you there.
